Mr. John Sidney Clark, Sr., age 90, beloved husband to Mrs. Myrtle Rearden Clark, entered into rest on Sunday November 2, 2025.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Kathy (Jamie) Boswell, Cindy (Karl) Deily, John S. (Carlene) Clark, Jr., Phillip Matthew (John) Clark, Mark (Linda) Clark; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Rachel Chavis; sister-in-law, Grace Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mae Clark; one grandchild; sisters, Thelma Duncan, Jean Boyd; and brother, William Clark.

Mr. Clark was a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was a faithful member of Highland Pines Baptist Church where he served as Treasurer for a number of years. He was a long-time member of the Aiken Golf Club and the National Association of Letter Carriers. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Friday November 7, 2025 at 2pm in the chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Wesley Greene officiating. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on the day of the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Daniel Clark, Patrick Clark, Tyler Clark, Ben Boswell, Darin Moseley and Patrick Kinney.
