Published by Legacy on Oct. 26, 2025.
Ira Stuart Nydick, 65, of Freehold, NJ, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the beloved son of the late Herman and Rhoda Nydick. Ira's world revolved around his family. Above all else, he adored his wife, Monica, and his cherished daughter, Riannon. He was the very definition of a "devoted dog dad," treating his faithful companions, Mac, Bailey, and Sunshine, like royalty. Ira was a loyal and true friend to many. A man of simple pleasures, Ira had an enduring passion for classic rock, a keen appreciation for good food, and a weakness for Tootsie Rolls. For most of his career, Ira worked in banking as a Relationship Manager.
Ira was predeceased by his beloved parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Monica; his devoted daughter, Riannon Nydick of Freehold, NJ; and his brothers, Scott Nydick of Cranbury, NJ, and Marc Nydick of Carteret, NJ.
A cryptside service and entombment will be held at Mount Sinai Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 361 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ 07751 on Monday, October 27 at 2:00pm. Friends and family are invited to pay a shiva call on Tuesday October 28 or Wednesday October 29th from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at the family's home. My brother - you were my angel here on earth! When I count my blessings you and Monica and Riannon with Patrick are always first in my thoughts and prayers. I can´t fathom a day without you yet I know that you are with our Lord and you are always watching over us all as our heavenly angel. I love you Ira - thank you for being my best friend- my brother and for creating our unconditional loving family. Monica and Riannon and Patrick and I will always be together caring for and loving one another as you loved us.
