Irene Biache, age 71, went to be with our Lord on July 4, 2025 peacefully and surrounded by her family and friends. She was a beautiful shining light to everyone she knew and met. She was loving, courageous, energetic and her laughter could fill a room. She was completely dedicated to the ministry of sharing and living the word of God.
Irene was born on December 31, 1953 in Corpus Christi, TX and graduated from Moody High School in 1972. She went on to obtain her teaching degree from Texas A&I - Kingsville. She moved to San Antonio to begin her teaching career and made the city her home. When she married Mike, she retired from teaching and became a Pastor's wife. She had such a special bond with so many cherished church members but made a tremendous impact in so many lives beyond their congregation. From feeding the homeless to giving the shoes off her feet to someone in need, she will always be remembered for her selflessness and tender heart. Irene also had a very special place in her heart for animals. She had her own pets, but she also cared for strays, especially cats. If she found one hurt or sick, she would nurse them back to health. Her legacy of faith and kindness will continue to inspire all those who were so blessed to know her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Leonor Delgadillo. She leaves behind her husband of 31 years, Mike Biache, 2 brothers Pedro "Pete" Delgadillo Jr. (Gloria) of Houston, TX, Fred Delgadillo (Syndi) of League City, TX, 3 sisters Alicia Gonzalez (Samuel), Alma Leal (Arnold) of Corpus Christi, TX and Gracie Gonzales (Jose A.) of Hutto, TX, along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Castillo Funeral Home 520 N. General McMullen in San Antonio, TX 78228 with prayer service at 6:00 pm. On Friday, July 18, 2025,visitation will continue until 10:30 am. On Wednesday July 23rd, everyone will meet at the burial site at Fort Sam Houston national cemetery for a 10:30 ceremony, guest are allowed to arrive as early as 10:15 am.

Mrs. Irene was a genuinely good person, friend and neighbor. She loved our boys and us like family, our honorary aunt. We loved her just the same. She had been there for us ever since we moved next door. We look over and miss her so much already. Our son Dez took it the hardest, she had been a really good friend to him as they were always talking by the fence. She kept up with his sports and school activities. She was so proud of her champ. She even joked about starting his fan club as the club president, she would light up when he would tell her results of his games. Our son Miles would give her big hugs when he got home from daycare and always gave her the biggest smile. Our oldest son Gabe would also go and say hi even after he moved out. She was a positive impact on our sons. She was such a true friend and it hurts that she is gone. We would exchange messages about her cats and the strays, her family, her favorite Spurs player, the boys and random videos clips. I miss her conversations outside in between our houses. She was such a beautiful person and so positive. We´ll miss her so much. I´m praying for Mr. Mike and her family. Our sincerest condolences - The Morales family

"My honey," is what Sister Irene always called Bro. Mike. I will always remember her smile and the love in her heart for Mike. May there be peace and love for all who love Sister Irene as they celebrate her life. Sister Irene loved the Lord and was happy to share HIS word with those who God put in her path. She will be missed...thank YOU Lord for having shared YOUR daughter with us.
