In Loving Memory Of
Irene E. Crutcher nee Basse of Fredericksburg passed away on Sunday, January 26th at the age of 93 years.
Irene was born May 30, 1931 in Gillespie County, Texas to Gustav and Cora Evers Basse.
Irene married John W. Crutcher on August 30, 1958 at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church.
Irene is survived by three children and their spouses: David and Lori Crutcher of Austin
Alan Crutcher of Fredericksburg
Carlin and Lisa Crutcher of Sycamore, IL
Six Grandchildren and spouses: Anna and Dustin Wiegers
Gustav, Samuel, Max, Emily and Oliva Crutcher
Two Great Grandchildren: Avery and Hadley Wiegers
Sister-in-law: Dorothy, Mrs. Roscoe Basse of Fredericksburg
Along with her husband and parents, Irene was preceded in death by a brother, Roscoe Basse.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday February 6th at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church with Rev. Steve Qualben officiating.
Visitation for Irene Crutcher will be held on Thursday February 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church prior to the Service.
Burial will be at the Fort Smith National Cemetery on Monday, February 10th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., 522 Garland Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Memorial contributions may be made in Irenes name to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, or to the charity of your choice.
