Irene Jelush, 84 years old, went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 14, 2025 in San Saba, Texas. A memorial service for Irene will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Blaylock Funeral Home and will be officiated by Erasmo Salinas Jr. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home in San Saba, Texas.
Irene was born on June 20, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas to Erasmo Salinas and Jesusa Vera. Irene was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and cousin. Irene loved to travel, the outdoors, and she loved watching her movies. She will be truly missed.
Irene is survived by her siblings, Jesse, Stella and husband Carlos, Joe and wife Vivian, Erasmo Jr. and wife Lynn, Vera and husband Gary, Rudy and husband Scott; her four children Eugene III and wife Trish, Rosemary, Daniel and wife Frances, and Jerry; she is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
