Irene Moore Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bordentown Home for Funerals on Jan. 8, 2026.
IRENE MOORE, 93, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in Melbourne, Florida. Born on May 21, 1932, in Trenton, New Jersey, she lived a life marked by resilience, dedication, and unwavering love for her family.
Irene was the beloved wife of the late Richard C. Moore. Together they built a vibrant and bustling household filled with energy and warmth. As a devoted mother to six children-Patricia Harvey, Richard S. Moore, Thomas J. Moore, Terry Wagner, Daniel Moore, and David Moore-Irene balanced the demands of raising a large family with working outside the home. Her ability to manage both roles with grace and determination was a testament to her strength and self-reliance.
Throughout her life, Irene was known for her positive outlook and steadfast character. These qualities not only guided her through life's challenges but also left a lasting impression on those around her. Her optimism and inner strength became cornerstones of the family she nurtured and supported.
Irene found joy in simple pleasures that reflected her nurturing spirit and creativity. She loved cooking hearty meals that brought everyone together around the table. Her sewing skills were both practical and expressive-each stitch a reflection of care and craftsmanship. She also enjoyed swimming, finding peace and vitality in the water.
Her legacy lives on through her children and all who were touched by her kindness and example. Irene's life was one of quiet strength and enduring love-a foundation upon which generations will continue to build.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her. A Graveside Service will be held 1 PM on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Riverview Cemetery 870 Centre Street in Trenton, New Jersey. A reception will follow.
Arrangements are under the direct care and supervision of Robert L. Pecht, Bordentown Home for Funerals, 40 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, NJ 08505.
