Iris DePillo Obituary
NEGLEY, OHIO – Iris Ann Depillo, 76, of Negley passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Iris was born in Racine on November 10, 1949, a daughter of the late Everett H. and Frances (Slaughter) Parsons. She was a graduate of Beaver Local High School, Class of 1968, where she ranked in the top ten of her class.
Iris was a devoted homemaker who deeply loved her family. She was easygoing and kind, yet a lighthearted troublemaker when spending time with her sisters. Iris enjoyed antique dealing, loved animals - especially her cats and dogs, and found joy in crocheting and quilting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Smith; her second husband, David DePillo; and her sisters, Shirley McCoy and Kay Parsons.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Tina Laughlin; son William "Bill" Smith; grandchildren Michael Laughlin, Kayla Laughlin, and Heather Laughlin; and her sisters Ruth Parsons, Karen Parsons and Cathy Parsons.
Rev. Norm Eckert will conduct a funeral service on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 12 p.m. Family and friends may visit two hours prior from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery.
