Sad to find out that Mrs. Deezen passed away recently. I remember stopping in at Ray's Jewelers on Baltimore Street and saying hello. Such a sweet lady! She would ask how I was doing and how my older sister was doing to which I would tell her that Mickey was doing fine.
Also my prayers go out to her son, Eddie. He's going through a lot right now and my prayer is that he gets the help that he needs.

I´m so sorry on your mom´s passing. Irma was a bright star in so many people´s lives including mine. She was an inspiration, beautiful and loving woman and will always be remembered fondly! Sending love, hugs and prayers to you all!

I loved Mrs. Deezen. I had her for French and Spanish class. She took a liking to me the first day and said "you will be ma secrétaire". She was always so friendly, loving and caring. You couldn´t ask for a nicer teacher. I can remember she´d have us doing stretches and jumping jacks in class sometimes. Good thing her class was at the end of the hall, near the gym, She made class enjoyable. She will be forever missed. I love you Mrs.Deezen!

Irma was a beautiful beautiful person inside and out. She was kind, caring, and gentle. She gave me the best advice , more than once, and never judged me. I truly loved Irma. She will be missed but never forgotten........
