Irma Padilla, a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on July 17, 1965, in Lubbock, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of the late Catalina Jimenez Flores.
Irma was a homemaker who poured her heart into her family. She found her greatest joy in cooking, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and celebrating the holidays-Christmas being her favorite. She made sure everyone felt special, always giving thoughtful gifts and creating warm memories that will be treasured forever.
She met the love of her life, Albert Padilla, in her younger years, and after reconnecting later in life, they shared over 20 wonderful years together. Irma was known for her generous heart, always trying to help anyone in need. Her love extended beyond her family-she cherished time spent with friends, often enjoying good company and her favorite Tejano music.
Irma is survived by her loving husband, Albert Padilla; her children Erica (Eli), Elizabeth, Joe, and Roman (Maraiah); her step-children Albert Jr., Veve (JP), Bernice, and Thomas-all of Lubbock, TX; and her adored grandchildren Jonathon, Joshua, Kitty, Malakie, Jojo, Madison, Zariah, Mason, Trevin, Ryker, Raider, Landry, and Zayden.
She also leaves behind her siblings Luis Blanco (Deborah) of Fresno, CA, Fabian Madrid (Sonya) of Lubbock, TX, Lillian Garcia (Jerry) of Lubbock, TX, and Irene (Hielo) of Bastrop, TX.
Irma was preceded in death by her mother, Catalina Jimenez Flores; her brother, David Jimenez; and her beloved niece, Cinnamon Garcia.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Irma's life during a visitation on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Agape Funeral Chapel, 6625 19th St, Lubbock, TX 79407. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Agape Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
Irma's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
