Ironie Marie Dautriel

Ironie Marie Dautriel, 99, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 at her residence. She loved art and loved painting. Also, she enjoyed working with flowers and received Yard of the Year on many different occasions. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, card games with the family, bingo, and we can't forget about her wonderful cooking. Ironie also had an infectious smile for everyone. She was one of the founding members of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Most importantly, she would pray the rosary daily and was always praying for her family and friends.

She is survived by her five sons Leon Dautriel and wife Elaine of Westlake, Ned Dautriel and wife Sheryl of Westlake, Michael Dautriel and wife Kristy of Colorado, L.J., Jr. and wife Rita of Westlake, John Dautriel and wife Pamela of Lafayette; daughters Jeannette Marie Jessen of Westlake, Earline Ann Hennigan of Longville. Also, 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years Leonard Joseph Dautriel, Sr., baby Elizabeth Dautriel; brothers Melvin, Sydney, Lydney, Louis; sisters Evela, Electa, and Therese.

Services will be held at St John Bosco Catholic Church at 1:30pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Visitation will be on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 5:00-9:00pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm and will resume on Tuesday, from 11:00am until the procession to the church.

Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to Our Lady of the Oaks Retreat Center. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
