Irving B. Guerin, 65, of Allison Lane, Mooers Forks, died Friday, June 20, 2025, at The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont, with his loving daughter by his side.
He was born in Plattsburgh, September 11, 1959, the son of Ernest and Vera (Gay) Guerin. He grew up in Ellenburg Depot.
Irving worked for the Town of Altona Highway Dept. for several years and then began his own dairy farm. He also operated an excavation and trucking business during the farming years. After retiring from the dairy farm, he continued to operate his excavation business and also raised beef cattle.
He was an avid outdoorsman and had a deep passion for raising and training pulling horses, and hunting.
Left to cherish the memory of Irving are, his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Jim Wells of Altona; two grandsons, Jim, Jr. and Jordan; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Jason Guerin; siblings, Marion Sorrell Richard, Donna Lefebvre, and Ernie Guerin.
At his request there will be no public services.
Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
