Isabel is survived by ex-wife, Irma Porras; Daughters, Mayra Robinson, Angel Salinas, Isabel (Bel) Salinas, Molly Salinas; Son, Moses Salinas; Sisters, Yolanda Carranza, Isabel BiBi (Juan) Olivo, Rachel (Abel) Garcia; Brothers, Jesse (Laura) Flores, Jose (Victoria) Salinas, Daniel Salinas Sr., Luis (Martina) Salinas, Donato (Diane) Salinas, Noe Salinas, Ismael (Flora) Salinas, Antonio Salinas; numerous grandchildren.
At a young age Chavelo worked at Knolle Dairy Farms. He also worked as a Life Insurance Agent amongst many other jobs. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He attended Casa De Oracion Iglesia Del Dios Vivo in Mathis. He enjoyed helping others by taking friends and family to Progresso or any doctors appointments.
Visitation for Chavelo will be at 9:30 am and funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Winsteads' Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Descanso Eterno II. A meal will be provided after burial at Casa De Oracion Iglesia Del Dios Vivo, 615 E. Franklin, Mathis, Texas.
