Isabelle Mae Steinmetz, age 16, of Fountain City, passed away tragically on Monday, February 10, 2025 as the result of an automobile accident.

Isabelle was born on November 29, 2008 in Eau Claire.  She a sophomore at C-FC and Rural Virtual Academy.

Isabelle worked at Midtown Foods in Winona and most recently, started a job that she loved at Kwik Trip in Fountain City.

Those that were blessed to know Isabelle will remember her for her artistic mind and the beautiful artwork and drawings that she created along with her musical talents.  She enjoyed playing basketball and playing and watching video games.  Her lifelong dream was to pursue a career in animation and there are no doubts that she would have accomplished this goal, or any other goal she set her mind to.

Although her physical being was taken from us at such a young age, her soul will live on inside the hearts of those who survive.

Isabelle will be so dearly missed by her mom and dad, Amanda and Staniel Neverdahl; sister, Clover; maternal grandparents, Sharon and Donald Steinmetz; step grandparents, Tammy and Greg Varney; uncle, Dustin Steinmetz; step aunts and uncles, Cody Varney, Chelsy Varney, Jennesa (Jesse) Chelf; cousins, Ashley Chelf, Evelyn Atkins, Riley Atkins and Clint Chelf; also by many dear friends.

A memorial gathering and celebration of Isabelle's life for family and friends will be held Talbot Family Funeral Home in Cochrane, WI on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service at 1:00 PM.
