Isike Donald Sanney

Isike (Ike) Donald Sanney, 85, of Pennington, passed away at home after a lengthy illness.
Born in Burton, West Virginia, he resided in Hopewell for over sixty years. He worked as a truck driver for Trap Rock for over forty years. In his spare time Ike enjoyed going to casinos and tending to his garden, he could often be found outside watering his flower beds. His greatest joy though was spending time with his family, often hosting picnics and holiday parties at his home.
Ike is survived by his wife of almost sixty-one years, Cecilia Sanney; his son-in-law, Daniel Robbins; his granddaughter, Nicole Robbins; his grandson, Shaun Robbins; his great-grandsons, Henry Siersema, Dallas Robbins and Maverick Robbins; his brother, John Sanney; and his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his daughter, Stacie Robbins; his grandson, Daniel Robbins Jr.; his parents, Bertha and Clarence Sanney; his brothers, James Sanney, Raymond Sanney, Glenn Sanney and Joseph Sanney; and his sisters, Louise Postiwaite, Wilma Neer and Dorothy White.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. He will be missed by all.
