It is with great love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Israel Ramirez on Tuesday, August 12, surrounded by the love of his family.
Israel was a proud Vietnam veteran who served his country with courage and honor. Beyond his service, he was a man of quiet artistry and deep passion-his paintings reflected the beauty he saw in the world, and his classical guitar playing filled many moments with warmth and grace.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Mirza Ramirez; his loving children, Karen Ramirez and Steven Ramirez; his cherished daughter-in-law, Danielle Ramirez; and a host of extended family and friends whose lives were enriched by his kindness, humor, and wisdom.
Israel's life was one of dedication-to his family, to his craft, and to the values he held dear. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
