Iva Mae Busby, 80, of Mabank, TX went to be with the Lord on April 7, 2024. Mae was born on December 10, 1943, to Arthur Reid and Mary Maude Bow in Kaufman, TX. On June 19, 1959, she married Richard Busby, and they spent a loving 49 years together before he passed away in 2008. Mae worked at Bow Trucking and Ready Mix for 40 plus years before she retired. She enjoyed doing anything crafty; sewing, crocheting, and scrapbooking is what she did the most. Mae’s most precious time was spent with her grandchildren. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Her parents Arthur and Mary, husband Richard, daughter Lisa Yates, and siblings: Roberta Bow, Naomi Bow, Hazel Bruner and Phillip Bow preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Kim Temple and husband Bruce, son-in-law Bubba Yates, grandchildren: Chris Temple and wife Rachel, Shelley Maple and husband Jaymes and Nikki Leigh and husband Alex; great grandchildren: Forrest Temple and Mason Maple; siblings: John Bow and wife Jeanne, Wayne Bow, Rebekah Bow Gomez and Betty Zajic; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Rose Hill Cemetery at 8481 CR 159 Kaufman, TX 75142.
