She graduated from Gainesville High School where she received a high school diploma. Iva Jean worked as a school bus driver for the Columbia County School Board. She enjoyed bowling, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and visiting the mountains.
Iva Jean is survived by her sons, Gene Dukes of Fort White, Florida, Danny Dukes (Debbie) of Bell, Florida, and Dean Dukes (Christina) of Milton, Florida; daughter, and Debbie Morrison (Jimmy) of Fort White, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Dukes.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Evans Carter Funeral Home. Burial will follow the memorial service at a future date at Oak Grove Cemetery.
