Ivan Torres passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. He was born on August 12, 1984, in Chicago, Illinois. Ivan lived most of his life in San Antonio, Texas.
Ivan leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and generosity. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 9 years, Brandy Michelle Rampley Torres; a daughter, Cheyenne Helen Elizabeth Rampley and her fiance Braxton Kieren Taylor; his mother, Juanita Torres; a brother, Luis Torres and his children; a sister, Crystal (Gabriel) Flores and their children; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ivan is preceded in death by his father, Armando Torres; his step-father, Richard Trissel; and, a brother, Herbert "Diedra" Torres.
Ivan never met a stranger, only new friends. He was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a laugh. Ivan was a high-spirited and caring individual with a heart of gold. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in spending time with his cherished family. Ivan embraced the joys of life with enthusiasm. He delighted in indulging in good food and engaging in lively conversations over a delicious meal. He loved watching college football, especially the Georgia Bulldogs. He loved his german shepherd, Prince.
Ivan had great work ethic, working two jobs to make sure his family was taken care of. He worked as a sorter at UPS, and as a patient care technician at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. He provided compassionate care to those in need. Ivan's kindness extended beyond the workplace to his neighbors and anyone he encountered.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, December 9, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
