J.A. Floyd, Jr., 91 of Bowling Green died Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Medical Center.
J.A. was born in New Albany, Indiana to the late Jesse Alexander Floyd, Sr. and Helen Agnes Lipps Floyd. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Floyd, his brother-in-law, Robert Lowe, two nieces and one nephew. He was a teacher for the Warren County School System and a minister of several churches. He was a member of Cumberland Trace Church of Christ formerly known as Lehman Avenue Church of Christ.
His survivors include his wife, Carolyn Floyd; his son, David Leo Floyd; one sister, Shirley Ann Lowe; and several nieces and nephews. There will be visitation on Monday, 10 a.m.-12 noon at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with a graveside service at 1 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery.
