My journey began on December 27, 2024, when I was born to my parents Felicia R. Lee and James H. Glass Sr. I had the privilege of growing up in a happy and loving home, surrounded by my siblings where I shared many wonderful memories. It has been said " It takes a village to raise a child"...... My village was full of awesome people who invested in me and showed me pure unconditional love.
I know that my leaving changes everything and I didn't get to say Goodbye, but death cannot separate us.
I was baptized by Rev. Phillip Dukes as a child, I sometimes sang in the children's choir. I received my education in the K.C.K school district. The " Learn and Earn" was a program that I was part of for several years. I enjoyed the program because I liked having my own money. I did not mind working and because of this, I was given the nickname " J MONEY".
People are remembered for different reasons. I would like to be remembered for my humor, my smile and my laid back personality. Let those memories comfort you and keep me in your heart when you think of me. I know that you don't want to imagine life without me and this is a difficult time, but my temporary body left to be at peace on Monday November 18, 2024. I've gone on to a new life and I'm safe in the arms of Jesus.
I'm not asking that you not cry, because tears are the silent language of grief, but I hope as you mourn and celebrate me, you remember me for the role that I shared in your life.... a good SON & GRANDSON an awesome BROTHER a wonderful UNCLE... a great NEPHEW & COUSIN and a loyal FRIEND, each of you earned a place in my heart.
Family, when your hurt is too deep for words remember the good times, those memories are yours to keep. But also remember God promised, he will wipe away every tear from your eyes.... Revelations 21:4 mom, my love will always surround you, I'm incredibly grateful for your love, patience and guidance. Dad, thanks for all the memories we made together. To my siblings, it was a great journey that has ended, but let my memories live on FOREVER in your hearts. Yall gave me a certain kind of love that only a sister or brother could give. To the rest of my family, I will always be there in love and spirit, say my name and smile when you think of me and to anyone who has been touched by my leaving, may your sadness bring you closer to God.
I've rested my eyes and gone to sleep, I'm joining my loved ones who preceded me; Maternal Grandfather, Thomas L. Lee, sister Iea'Sha Lee, Paternal Grandfather James Gillom.
I leave to cherish my memories, my mother Felicia Lee, father James H. Glass Sr, my siblings RaNesha Terry, Jamesha Glass, Na'Shae Lee, James Glass Jr, Darryl Frye, Darrwin Frye, Jasmine Glass, Tyshilia Smith, Jamaya Glass and Joyce Glass. Grandparents Beverly Lee Stewart, Linda(Adam) Hogan, Ophelia(James) Gillom and bonus grandmother Alesia Willaims, Shunta Maxwell my godmother, bonus siblings; Wes'Qiella Maxwell, Ta'Nishia Wallace, Xavier Wallace and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
