Jacalyn Kahn, of Ardmore, PA passed away on May 21st, 2024.

Our sweet Jackie, as she was affectionately known by her family and friends, was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 7th 1963, to Vivian and Louis Kahn. Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Vivian and is survived by her loving sister Deborah Kahn and her first cousin Linda Fields. 

Jackie grew up in Havertown, PA and attended Haverford High School, graduating at the top of her class, before studying at Emory University. Jackie’s greatest joy was spending time with her sister Debbie and so many friends, many of whom she remained close since childhood, as well as her devoted caregivers who became her family. Jackie loved showing everyone how much she treasured them by writing thoughtful, heartfelt cards and letters and creating homemade gifts adorn with her artistic flair. Jackie reveled in the celebrations of her friends and family and never missed an opportunity to express how much she loved them.

Graveside services will be held on Friday May 24th at 11:00 am at Haym Salomon Memorial Park Cemetery located at 200 Moores Rd. Frazier, PA. 19355

Shiva will be held immediately following at Har Zion Temple at 1500 Hagys Ford Rd, Penn Valley, PA. 

For those that wish, donations in Jackie’s memory may be made to the following organizations: 

Alzheimer’s Association,  Abramson Cancer Center Perelman 2nd Floor West, Judith Creed Horizons of Achieving Independence (JChai) in Bryn Mawr, PA, or Har Zion Temple in Penn Valley, PA.
