Jack L. Christian, 86, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, following a period of declining health. Jack was born in Hawkins County and lived in Kingsport for most of his life. He was an employee of Meade/Domtar retiring in 2009. Jack attended Glenwood Baptist Church, which he greatly enjoyed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gay Nel Christian.
Jack is survived by his loving wife, Freda Lynn Christian; children, Angela Christian, Jason Sean Christian and wife Julie, Vanessa Bishop and Brittany Castle and husband Michael; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Kinsley and husband Bill; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Ronnie Horne officiating.
