Jack Edward Conn, 92, of Wooster, went to be with the Lord, Sunday February 23, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Jack was born February 13, 1933 in Cleveland, Mississippi to Hubbard and Allice {Manning} Conn.
He married Janice Conn on September 29, 1951.
Jack was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for 30 years, he also worked at Wooster Christian School and Grace Church where he was also a member. Jack enjoyed boating at the lake in his earlier days, loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing cards with friends and family.
Jack will be deeply missed by his daughters Jackie Saunders and Jill (Kevin) Kane; grandchildren Walter “Ryan” Saunders, Melanie Saunders, Brooke (Brent) Newman, Jenny Kane, Jeremy (Kelly) Kane, and Michael (Janelle) Kane; great-grandchildren Walter “Royer” Saunders, Laine Nolan Saunders, Harper Anne Olson, Miller Kai Newman, Cecilia Anne Newman, Emma Joy Kane, Grady Lee Kane, Grace Kane, Brianna Kane, and Tristan Kane; and great-great-grandchild Coleson.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife Jan, his parents, brother Preston Conn, and sisters Carol Blubaugh and Connie Stampley.
Friends may call Friday February 28 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Grace Church in Wooster. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Jack-Conn) with Pastor Dave Lawson officiating. Private family burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
