It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jack Hall on June 26, 2025, at the age of 72, from an inoperable brain tumor. While we will miss his wonderful presence, we are left with hearts full of great memories and gratitude for a life that overflowed with love and joy.
Jack was born on December 29, 1952, in Fort Collins, Colorado (which he was very proud of since it wasn't Nebraska like his brothers!) Growing up in this wonderful town, Jack was able to build very meaningful relationships which always had him running into someone he knew no matter where he went.
Jack had a way of turning ordinary days into extraordinary adventures. He wore many different hats (literally and figuratively). He was known as Wally to some, Captain Jack to others, but his most cherished of all was Bompa!
Jack is survived by his wife, Marla Hall of Fort Collins, Colorado, daughter, Aspen Henderson (Thomas) of Johnstown, Colorado, daughter, Keeley Marzette (Khiry) of Fort Collins, Colorado, son, Tanner Hall (Morgan) of Laramie, Wyoming and six grandkids; Kinzlee, Zevvie, Maverix, Huxlyn, Zelttie and Hayden, (who will carry on his legacy of kindness and occasional mischief). He was preceded in death by his father, Merle Hall, mother, Faye Hall, brothers, Ron Hall and Ted Hall.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 26th at 11am at the Elk's Lodge, 1424 East Mulberry St., Fort Collins, CO.
To celebrate Jack's legacy, the family invites you to support the Angelman Syndrome Foundation (https://support.angelman.org/jackhallmemorial), reflecting his passion for this cause. The family also wants to thank everyone at Pathways of Northern Colorado for their tremendous care these last few months.
Jack, your kindness, love, and light will never fade. As you reunite with your mom, dad, and brothers, we know you're sharing laughs, playing cards, and maybe even bowling a strike or two. We will carry your spirit with us always, cherishing the love and adventure you brought into our lives. Until we meet again, Bompa, enjoy every moment up there-you deserve it!

I've known Jack for many, many years through my brother and his friends. What a fine man. Always honest, ethical and cheerful-- I feel privileged and grateful to have known him. Marla-- what an amazing wife you've been to him-- and to you and your children, you have my deepest sympathies. He will be greatly missed, and carried in everyone's heart who knew him forever.
