Jack Korth Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Johnston & Stanimer Funeral Home - Morris on Dec. 2, 2025.
Morris
Jack Ernest Korth, 82, of Morris, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 29, 2025. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, on June 6, 1943, a son of the late Theodore G. and Frances (Kenyon) Korth.
Jack was employed for most of his life with Husted Trucking in Mt. Upton, where he took great pride in his work and the strong work ethic he carried throughout his years. A natural problem-solver, he enjoyed fixing just about anything-especially cars-and was truly a "Jack" of all trades. He also loved spending time outdoors and was an avid hunter.
Jack was a devoted family man. He was caring and loyal, with a straightforward, tell-it-like-it-is personality that those who loved him will never forget. Beneath his sometimes-gruff exterior was a big heart and a deep love for his family.
He is survived by his children, Donna Johnstone and Wayne (Veronica) Korth; his grandchildren, Autumn and Tristan Korth, Abby Korth-Moreno, and Alyssa Johnstone; and his great-grandchildren, Aislyn Leonard, Oakland Wildenstein, and Jupiter Moreno. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jack was predeceased by his wife, Beverly; his brothers, Edward and Theodore Korth; and his sister, Elissa Christensen.
Services will be held at a future date and place to be determined by his family.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
Jack's family has entrusted his personal and compassionate care to Edd Stanimer of the Johnston & Stanimer Funeral Home in Morris.
