Jack George Nixon passed away peacefully on July 15, 2020, in Weatherford, TX. He was born December 13, 1944, at Jefferson Barracks, MO to Margaret Dorthy Pikarski and Jack George Nixon. Jack was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, a registered nurse, Coast Guard veteran, and Coast Guard Axillary member. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Spain Nixon of 55 years, his mother, and father.
Jack was survived by his sister, Peggy Buntin of Ohio, son, Tom Nixon of Fort Worth, son, Jack Nixon and his wife Johnnie Luther Nixon of Brock, grandchildren, Jordan and John Nixon of Brock, nieces and nephews, the Govier family of Michigan, and other lifelong friends.
Due to the current world climate, no funeral or visitation will be held. If family, friends, and others whose lives Jack has touched would like to honor him during this time, please make donations to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
