Jack M. Parker

Presque Isle - Jack Moselle Parker, a man of service, dedication, and a zest for life, passed away peacefully Friday, August 22, 2025. He was 93 years old.

Jack's life began September 11, 1931 in Arcadia Florida. He proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force, retiring as Master Sergeant in 1971 from Loring AFB. His expertise in aircraft electronics was a cornerstone of his service, taking him and his family to various bases across the United States before settling at Loring AFB. On July 6, 1957, Jack married the love of his life, Patricia (Geary) Parker, while stationed in Bermuda.

After his distinguished military career, Jack embarked on a second successful venture as the owner and operator of The Music Shop in Presque Isle, ME, for 20 years. In his later years, he remained active as a part-time employee at Graves Shop & Save and as a volunteer at the Presque Isle Police Department, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to his community.

Jack's education included Dobbins Technical High School in Philadelphia, PA, and an Associate degree in Business Management from Ricker College. His passion for sports extended beyond the Air Force bases where he played softball and baseball, and he enjoyed bowling competitively at Loring Air Force Base. He also had a love for fishing which began in his childhood in Arcadia, Florida, and he cherished sharing this hobby with his grandchildren. Jack and his wife Pat loved to travel by car, whether vacationing or visiting family.

He is survived by his daughters, Kathleen (Parker) Simoneau and her husband David Simoneau, and Susan (Parker) Cook and son in law Kevin Cook; his grandchildren, Sean Simoneau and his wife Molly Simoneau, and Kimberly Cook.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Parker, and his sister, Jeanne Haegele; parents, Florence (Heis) and Finis Parker, and stepfather, Fred Heis.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Leisure Village, Senior Domestics, Aroostook Home Health Services, the Presque Isle VA Clinic, Seniors Plus, Northern Light AR Gould Hospital ER, and the PIFD / EMT's for their compassionate care.

Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation 2PM – 4PM Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the Duncan Graves Funeral Home in Presque Isle. The family invites everyone to a time of remembrance and refreshments in the Duncan Graves Reception Hall following the visitation time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Logan P.
