Jack Adrian Parker, age 91, of Collegedale Tennessee, went to sleep in the Lord on January 16, 2026. Jack was born in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Adrian P. and M. Marie Parker on July 12, 1934. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a proud veteran. He moved to Tennessee from Michigan in 1966 and worked for Southern Missionary College at the College Press, the Plumbing Department, and the Hydroponics Department. He went to work for McKee Foods Corporation in February of 1977 as a plumber, an electrician, a refrigeration mechanic, and retired in July of 1998 as a Telecommunications Specialist, doing fiber-optics and switchgear. Before and during his retirement, Jack volunteered with Maranatha Volunteers International doing short form missionary work, building churches, schools, and camps all over the world for over 30 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Jerry Lee Parker, Carol Peterson Doke, and David Parker; and his son, Jeffery Adrian Parker.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He is survived by his wife of almost 66 years, Janice K. Hunt Parker; five of their children: Jillyn K. Parker (Orville Inman), Juanita J. Davis (Forrest), James R. Parker (Tammy), Joseph R. Parker (Angie), and Jack K. Parker (Stephanie); sisters: Patricia A. Kurtz (Martin III), Roberta L. Nicholson (married to the late Tom Nicholson), Bonnie J. Gannon (Doug); 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the McDonald Road SDA Church with the Celebration of Life Service following at 4:00 p.m. Pastors Fred Fuller and Jamey Houghton are officiating. Burial will be a private service at a later time. In lieu of flowers, Jack asked that donations be made to Maranatha Volunteers International at: https://maranatha.org
