Jack Reddington, age 87, of Bright, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 10, 1936 to John Martin and Mary Helen Reddington (nee Mitchell).
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter, Connie Zimmerman.
Jack is survived by his sweetheart of 67 years, Arlene Reddington (nee Ruther), his children Beverly (Ronald) Stamm, Joyce (Philip) Vossmeyer, James (Jackie) Reddington and Douglas (Tina) Reddington. He is the grandfather of 23 and great grandfather of 30.
Jack is a 1954 Elder grad. He served in the US Navy, ranking of IC2, serving in the Korean Conflict.
He retired from the City of Cincinnati, serving many years as a building inspector. After retirement, he enjoyed driving charter bus tours for 17 more years.
Jack was a "jack" of all trades. He loved camping, teaching life skills, enjoying family time at the Myrtle Beach oceanfront condo and huge family gatherings at the house.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211)
Funeral Mass will be Friday, November 22, 2024 at 10 AM in St Lawrence Church, Price Hill.
Burial, with military honors will follow in New St Joseph Cemetery.
In loving memory of Jack, contributions may be made to St Lawrence Church, 3680 Warsaw Ave, Cincinnati (45205) or Loving Hearts Hospice, 4109 North Dearborn Rd, Lawrenceburg, (47025).
