Jack Ruble Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Directors - Utica on Apr. 1, 2024.
Jack Ruble, beloved husband, father, brother, and cherished member of his community passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 28, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on August 25, 1935, Jack lived a life filled with love, adventure, and a passion for creation.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly Ruble, loving children, Allan (Lynn), Randall (Rebecca), Gregory (Janice), and Janine (James) Hielscher, dear sister, Joanne (the late George) Heenan, and his cherished 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ethel Ruble, and his sister, Dawn Ruble.
Although he was a plumber by trade, Jack was also a master craftsman known for his remarkable skill in building, especially with his hands. His talent extended to woodwork and stained glass, where he displayed a true creative spirit. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enthusiasm for activities like snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, and golfing. As a member of the Romeo Lions Club, Jack found fulfillment in serving his community and making a positive impact on those around him.
Among Jack's many interests was his admiration for the legendary actor, John Wayne, whose rugged charisma resonated deeply with him. He was also a dessert enthusiast and had a particular fondness for chocolate.
Jack's zest for life extended beyond his craft and community involvement; he enjoyed nothing more than a good party, surrounded by family and friends. His passion for celebration was infectious, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
As we mourn the loss of Jack Ruble, we celebrate a life well-lived and the memories that will forever remain in our hearts. His legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire us all. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the warmth of his cherished memories and the love of those he held dear.
