Jack Rudicil

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jack Rudicil, who left us peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the age of 84.

Jack was born on February 25, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Clifton Merritt and Bernice Irene (Clark) Rudicil.

A lifelong learner and dedicated educator, Jack earned both his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Miami University. He devoted 34 years to teaching in the Talawanda School District and the Princeton School District, where he also served as President of the Princeton Teachers Association. His commitment to education left a lasting mark on generations of students and colleagues.

Beyond the classroom, Jack faithfully served as an Elder of Community of Christ and as Pastor of Cincinnati Community for 18 years. His leadership, compassion, and unwavering faith were a source of comfort and inspiration to many.

An adventurer at heart, Jack held a private pilot's license and took great joy in traveling to all 50 states, exploring the world with curiosity and gratitude.

Jack is survived by his sons David (Kathy) Rudicil, Glenn (Debbie) Neidlinger Sr., Kurt (Dianna) Neidlinger, and Michael (Joanie) Neidlinger, 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. His home was often filled with the delightful chaos and laughter that grandchildren bring - a testament to the love and warmth he shared with his family.

Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years, Carol Jeanne Rudicil, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and devotion. He was also preceded in death by his parents, son John, and two brothers, Jim and Clark Rudicil.

Jack's kindness, wisdom, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 – 11 AM on Wednesday November 5, 2025 in the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, where the funeral service will follow at 11 AM with Pastors Jill Nickels and Mel Epperson officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Gardens.
