Jack Wesson Obituary
Jack was a retired SGM from the U.S. Army, during his 30+ years of service where he devoted himself to the U.S. Army Special Forces. Jack served several years in the tropics of Southeast Asia, Central America, and points around the globe. He served his country with honor and distinction. His exemplary service earned him numerous awards, including the Ranger Tab Master Parachutist Wings, Master HALO Wings, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Bronze Star, Purple Hearts, Meritorious Service Medal, and several other commendations. Jack's last Military assignment was at Jacksonville State University where he instructed future Military Leaders.
Visitation services will be held at The Charter Funeral Home Chapel 2521 US HWY 31, Calera, AL 35040, Thursday, November 14th, 2024, between 6pm-8pm. Jack will be laid to rest with honors at the Alabama National Cemetery on Friday, November 15th, 2024, at 12:30 p.m.
