Jack Williamson

Jack Williamson, a cherished husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on October 23, 1946, in Lafe, Arkansas, to the late Berlie and Geneve (Wilkerson) Williamson, Jack's life was a testament to the values of hard work, dedication, and the simple joys of life.
Jack spent his childhood in the rural landscapes of Lafe, where he developed a love for the outdoors. This passion for nature stayed with him throughout his life, manifesting in his love for fishing, hunting, and gardening.
After completing his education, Jack dedicated his life to the land, working as a farmhand. His work ethic and knowledge of the land were unmatched, and he was respected by all who worked alongside him.
He married the love of his life, Wilma (Layne) Williamson, and together they raised a beautiful family of eight daughters, Ann Morgan, Becky Williamson, Debbie Kyle, Lisa Williamson, Cassie Pryor, Sarah Williamson, and Vicki Williamson. He was predeceased by his daughter Susie Williamson, whose memory he held close to his heart.
Jack Williamson's legacy is one of love, perseverance, and the joy of living a life close to the land. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
