Mr. Jackie Ray Anschultz of Fisher, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at the age of 81. He was born September 24, 1942, in the Haw Thicket Community of Grubbs, the son of Homer Gwin and Bertha Emaline (Ward) Anschultz.
Mr. Anschultz was self-employed in Agriculture Business. He was a member of the Hydrick Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, song leader, and taught Sunday School. Mr. Anschultz enjoyed singing, watching westerns, and The Andy Griffith Show. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was an inventor who had patented several products. His inventions, born out of curiosity and hard work, showcased his unique ability to turn ideas into reality. Mr. Anschultz will be remembered for his great work ethic.
He was preceded in death by one son, David Martz Anschultz; four brothers, Leroy Anschultz, Dave Anschultz, Randall Anschultz, and Homer Don Anschultz; one sister, Gwendolyn Clark; mother of his children, Brenda Ann Henderson; and his parents.
Mr. Anschultz is survived by one son, Darrin Anschultz, and wife, Tonya, of Fisher; one daughter, Vicki Anschultz, of Weiner; two brothers, Sammie Joe Anschultz of Weiner and Thomas Earl Anschultz of Bay; one sister, Nancy Kemp, of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Darrah McClendon of Weiner, Chace Anschultz and wife, Jade, of Austin, Arkansas, Leah Porter of Weiner, and Taysia Davis of Bay; five great grandchildren, Brynlee Rae, Sadie Fay, Jagger, Saylor, and Blaze; a host of nieces, nephews; and a lifetime of friends.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Tony Sullins, Paul Friar, Warren Bright, Lynn Bolden, Keith McCillwain, Jarod Reed, and Jordan Anschultz. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Wilson, Ray Davis, H. M. Henderson, and Terry Asher.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Thursday 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Cheshier Cemetery, with Brother Mike Tubbs officiating.
