Jacqueline Chong passed away January 31, 2025. Jackie was born August 13,1941 in Lynn, Massachusetts to Emmanuel and Leona Sciaudone to a family that would eventually include 5 children. After graduating high school she joined the US Air Force. While she was in the Air Force she made many friends. While stationed in California she met her future husband George Chong. They had an instant connection being in the Air Force and far from home.
Jackie left the Air Force to become a wife to George, they were married September 23,1961 at March Air Force base chapel in California. After getting married he was immediately shipped out to Greenland for a year. When he returned, they made Honolulu their home. Here they welcomed their first son Keoki. Four years later George was stationed in Phoenix, Arizona where they welcomed their second their second son Greg. After the birth of Greg the family of four were stationed in Spain for three years.
After Spain they moved to their forever home in Midwest City, Oklahoma where she lived for the remainder of her life. Jackie had a passion for traveling. She vacationed in many countries in Europe, the Bahamas, and all over the United States, including going "back home" to Hawaii many times to see family.
Family was very important to Jackie especially her 4 grandchildren. When they were young she would set aside evenings each week to have Tutu ma night for each one individually. Spending quality time with each child, doing whatever they chose for the evening. It was always a special night the kids looked forward to. She also enjoyed taking them to sleep overs at the zoo, or just an extra curricular activity she enrolled them in. She also liked to take the family on trips together sometimes Hawaii, or just camping at the lake, in cabins of course. It was always a fun time that will be missed.
Jackie also had her own activities. Some of her favorites were to read books, and cook family dinners. These include her famous fried rice, her catholic faith, and birthday dinners with the girls. She was in several bowling leagues, and also traveled for bowling tournaments all over the US. She took classes to learn new hobbies such as ceramics and painting. With grandchildren, new hobbies, church, family and friends she always found time for all of us.
Jackie is survived by her 2 sons who reside in Midwest city. Keoki and wife Lisa, Greg and wife Marie. Sister Sandy Sarracco and husband Pat. Grandchildren Aaron Chong and wife Kyla, Shane Chong and Kayla, Mina Davis and husband Nathan, and Gavin Chong. Great grand children, Maximus, Nixon and Lexee Chong. Oliver, Enoch and Stephan Davis. As well as Best friends always included as family David and Roxie Rapino. As well as many loved, and always in her thoughts nieces and nephews and their families.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband George on Christmas day 2019, as well as Great granddaughter Jazlyn Chong.
