Jackie was born on April 15, 1932 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Floyd and Pearl Irwin. She spent her younger years in Iowa where she met her husband, Basil Sayre, that is where they began their family. In 1964 they moved to Green City. She worked at Con Agra Foods until it closed.
Jackie is survived by one son, Ricky Sayre of Green City, and one brother, Floyd Irwin Jr. of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Basil in 1979, two sons, Michael Paul Sayre and Patrick Henry Sayre, sister Jerri Irwin and brother Jimmy Irwin.
Jackie's wishes were to be cremated. A graveside service will be held at a later date and Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Green City, Missouri.
