Jackie “Jack” Leon Sims, 89 Fishers, passed away June 28, 2024. He was born in Spencer, IN to Forrest Sims and Helen Franklin Sims. After completing high school, Jack was offered a full scholarship to Indiana University School of Music, but instead chose to enlist in the military. He served in the Army where he worked on secrets maps used for military invasions. Jack spent the first half of his business career as a manager with RCA . He later worked at Queens Printing where he served as Vice President working directly with companies such as Sony Records. Jack enjoyed automobiles and was an avid member of the Corvette club. He also enjoyed spending time at his home in Bonita Springs playing golf and boating.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Sandy and Donna.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Virginia M. Sheese Sims; children, Tammy (Kim) Finn , Tina (Scott) Hopkins ; grandchildren, Dustin (Tabitha) Finn, Brittany (Nick) Nance , Dylan (Rachael) Finn, Haley Hopkins, Lily-Grace Hopkins; great grandchildren, Eleanor Finn, Brooke Finn, Oliver Nance, Benjamin Nance, Lewis Finn.
