Belmont – Jacob Reid Alexander, 23, passed away December 28, 2022 at Carolinas Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Jacob was born in Gaston County on November 15, 1999 to Crystal Felton Alexander and the late Jerry Randolph Alexander. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Hannah Alexander and his paternal grandparents.
Jacob was a graduate of South Point High School. He enjoyed the outdoors, snowboarding, fishing, and loved all music. He attended church on Sunday and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Jacob leaves many happy memories to be cherished by all those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother, Crystal Alexander, he is survived by his step-father, Jason Gregory; brother, Corey Alexander; sister, Brittany Alexander; longtime girlfriend, Brianna Jaimes; maternal grandparents, Cynthia Felton and William Felton; nephews, Tristin and Grayson Brannon, and niece, Autumn Brannon; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 10, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Withers and Whisenant Chapel.
