Jacob Almeida Obituary

March 7, 2022 in El Paso, Texas. Jacob Almeida was born in El Paso to Enrique Almeida III and
Liliana Flores Almeida on December 4, 2006.
Jacob is survived by his parents and brothers, Enrique Almeida IV and Marcus Dominic
Almeida. Grandparents Joe Ramirez and Lucia Flores, and Enrique II and Angela Almeida.
Uncles Fernando, Daniel, and David Almeida. Uncles Luciano and Rafael Flores, and Aunt
Carla Rascon. Along with many loving cousins and extended family.
Jacob was a freshman at Canutillo High School. He was involved in several student activities
including Ag. Mechanics & Metal Technology and was an avid welder. His favorite sport was
baseball and he enjoyed playing video games as a hobby. He was a skilled artist and his
artwork and sketches will forever be cherished.
Jacob enjoyed being in the water and family vacations often included trips to the lake and the
beach. His favorite color was blue and he was known for being an animal lover- sharks and
elephants, most of all. Jacob and his brothers shared a special bond and enjoyed watching
movies together- and he always insisted on making the popcorn. My Horsey, Saucy, Jacobo,
Jamon, Caballo & Jake the snake are some of his nicknames.
Above all the things that made Jacob so wonderful, he is most known for his kind heart, his
thoughtfulness, and his gentle nature. He was the best brother and son we could have asked
for, and feel blessed to have had him in our lives for the time God shared him with us.
Pallbearers will be Enrique Almeida II, Enrique Almeida III, Enrique Almeida IV, David Almeida,
Daniel Almeida, Fernando Almeida, Rafael Flores, and Matt Emiliano.
A memorial will be held on Tuesday, March 15th, 2022 from 4 to 8 PM.
A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday, March 16th at 10 AM
The memorial and funeral will be held at Iglesia de Dios located at 7546 Doniphan Drive,
Canutillo, TX 79835.
Resting place is Memorial Pines Cemetery located at 3061 Memorial Pines, Sunland Park, NM

Sweet Jacob, Thank you for being the amazing person that you were. I loved seeing your smile as you walked into class. You´d get to class a little early so you could show me pictures of your trip to Carlsbad with your family, or share some cool information you had learned about over the weekend. You lit up when you talked about family trips and new discoveries. You loved adventure and learning, and it´s amazing that I got to meet you, not only as my student, but as a happy go lucky kiddo who found joy in family and nature. Im going to miss hearing you say, "Have a good weekend, Miss" as you fussed with your backpack straps lol. No doubt, you were one of the sweetest kiddos I have ever had the pleasure of teaching. I know your parents are proud of what a beautiful soul you were, Jacob. Thank you for the memories. I know you´re in the presence of God. My prayers are with you and your family, sweetheart.
