STOW - Jake Chizmar, 27, passed away June 22, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born October 1, 1997, in Youngstown, Jake was a kind-hearted and adventurous soul, who brought joy to everyone who knew him. He graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in business and had been employed in sales at Jet Dock, in Valley View, where he was a valued member of the team.
Jake had a passion for the outdoors and spent time fishing, golfing, playing video games and enjoyed anime. He especially cherished time with his family. Spending time with his niece, Stevie, brought him genuine happiness.
He is survived by his loving parents, TJ and Diane Chizmar; sister, Sydney (AJ Planicka) Chizmar; niece, Stevie Planicka; paternal grandparents, Fred and Carol Chizmar, and many aunts, uncles, friends and cousins, who will miss him deeply.
Jake’s warm smile, generous spirit and unwavering love for those around him will never be forgotten.
Calling hours will be held 5 -7 PM, Wednesday July 2, 2025, at Redmon Funeral Home, 3633 Darrow Road, Stow, OH 44224.
