Jacob Salazar, aged 30, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at his home, surrounded by loved ones. Born on December 21, 1993, in El Paso, Texas, Jacob was a beacon of love and strength in his community. A proud resident of El Paso, he graduated from Bel Air High School in 2012 and went on to serve as the CFO for Ambient Logistics, where he was respected and admired.
Jacob's compassion and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a deep love for music, expressed through his talent as a guitar player and songwriter. Despite battling cancer since childhood, Jacob's spirit remained unbroken, and his resilience inspired those around him. He faced every challenge with unwavering strength and a smile.
Jacob is survived by his beloved fiancée, Candice Gonzales; his cherished sons, Nicholas Gonzales and Jacob Zakkery Salazar; his dearest parents, Veronica and Refugio Salazar; and his devoted brothers, Joshua, Joseph, and Adam Salazar. He also is survived by a large extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever remember his warmth and generosity. Jacob's absence leaves an irreplaceable void, and he will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family, friends, and all who knew Jacob are invited to gather at Sunset Funeral Homes, 480 North Resler, El Paso, TX 79912, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM on Saturday, August 24, 2024, to celebrate and honor the extraordinary life of Jacob Salazar. His legacy of love and resilience will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
