Jacob Myron Schwander
Date Of Birth: 08/12/2003
Date of Death: 06/16/2023
On August 12, 2003, Jacob was born at St. Vincent's Hospital along with his twin brother, Michael, to Tiffany and Mark Schwander. Just out of high school, Jacob began working as a Jr. Graphic Designer at Canon Press at 18 years old. He married his high school sweetheart, Penelope, on March 5, 2022. Just one month before marrying the love of his life, Jacob was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. Jacob never let his diagnosis dampen his joy and hope. On June 16, 2023, Jacob passed peacefully into Jesus' arms while his family was by his side. Jacob is with his Savior and King now, cancer free and no longer suffering the sorrow and trials this life brings.
Jacob loved creating all types of media, writing, photography, drinking coffee, discovering new music, reading the Bible, and studying theology. He had quite an impressive library by the age of 19. He loved spending quality time with Penelope, their cat, Tex, and their family. Jacob loved serving at his church, Westside Bible Fellowship, and Eagle Fern Camp.
Jacob is survived by his wife, Penelope; twin brother, Michael; parents, Tiffany and Mark; Grandparents, Violet Schwander, Betty Adams, Carolyn & Brent Adams; Penelope's parents, Lisa and Ryan Cone; four brothers-in-law, Atticus, Cid, Trip, and Knox; sister-in-law, Rook; Aunts and Uncles; many cousins and dear friends. His Grandpa Louis Schwander and his great-grandparents preceded him in death.
Jacob's Life Celebration will be July 8th, 2023 @ 2 pm
Westside Bible Fellowship, 526 SE Ninth Avenue Hillsboro, Oregon 97124
