Jacob Stapp Obituary
Jacob Paul Stapp, a resident of Del City, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 in an Oklahoma City hospital at the age of 55. Jacob was born on May 25, 1969 in Corpus Christi, Texas to James Pink Stapp and Nancy Irene (Beale) Stapp.
Jacob spent his early years in Texas, attending school there. He later moved to Oklahoma where he began his career as a welder and metal fabricator and became known as an excellent craftsman. Jacob followed his father's footsteps as a metal fabricator and thoroughly loved the whole process. Jacob loved to fish, spent countless hours playing his guitar and the drums, and always loved a friendly game of pool. Most of all Jacob was a loving son, brother, and uncle and he will be missed dearly by the many family and friends he treasured so much.
Jacob is survived by his sister, Rhonda Parker of Waco, Texas; a sister, Diane Hegefeld, also of Waco; and brother, James McDougald of Corpus Christi, Texas; and by other extended family and many good friends.
Following cremation, the family has indicated they will have a memorial Celebration of Life in honor of Jacob's life. Further details will be posted as soon as all arrangements have been finalized.

Our condolences to the family of Paul (as we knew him). Paul lived next door to the church we pastor. Paul did the yard work for the church unsure how long, we have been pastoring more than a year and had developed a relationship with Paul, he attended a couple pot lunches and came to church one time. Paul kept an eye out for the church and we appreciated it. Our prayers are that God comfort you during this times and give you strength. God bless, Church of God 7th day Ruben and Priscilla Marquez
