It's with great sadness that the family of Jacob Reyes III (DADDY), announce his passing who left us on January
8 th, 2025, at the age of 65. He was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas on January 6 th, 1960, to Jacob Reyes
Jr. and Irma Rubio Salas(deceased).
He passed away in Dallas, Texas on January 8 th, 2025, leaving behind his wife, Jennifer Bayron, and his beautiful daughters, Maria Gonzalez, Crystal Reyes and Esmeralda Reyes. As well as his sons, Juan Cavazos and Alan Chavez. He is also leaving behind 18 grandchildren in which he loved them all as his own. Surrounded by his loving wife and beautiful daughters and sons in his final moments, he was a man with a wacky sense of humor and a loving heart, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones.
He was someone to admire for his optimism, when he was made aware of his cancer, he said "this is not the end of life, it's the beginning of life." To say he was a good man would be an understatement. He was an amazing husband, father, friend, brother, uncle, and great grandfather to all his 18 grandchildren.
To celebrate Daddy's happy life, a memorial service will take place on January 15 th and 16 th, 2025 at Calvary Funeral Home on 624 East Second Street, Irving, Texas, 75060 from 1 P.M. to 8 P.M. Church service will be Friday January 17 th, 2025, in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10 A.M. located at 5605 Bernal Drive, Dallas, Texas, 75212. After church, Daddy will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens located at 1413 East Irving Blvd, Irving, Texas,
75060.
The family requests not to wear the color black in honor of Daddy as he wants us to celebrate his passing as the happy life he had. The Reyes family gives its sincere thanks to all who stood by them in Daddy's last days. Rest in peace Daddy and remember to visit us every now and then.
