Jacqueline (Prescott) Arthur, 85, of Beeville, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Jacqueline was born October 17, 1938, in Victoria to Edward William Prescott and Bertha Marie (Mueller) Prescott. After graduating from Refugio High School, she furthered her education and earned a bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University and became a flight attendant for National Airlines. She then began a long career as an educator teaching for more than 30 years. After retiring from teaching, she pursued a career in the real estate industry selling multiple homes, ranches and businesses.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Bertha Prescott.
Left behind to cherish fond memories include her son, Andrew, and his wife, Theresa Arthur of Beeville, and her beloved grandchildren, Cameron Arthur, Madison Arthur and Allison Arthur.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 26, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville followed by burial in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Refugio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beeville Humane Society.
