John Keith Uzzell, 62, passed away of natural causes on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at his home in Beeville, Texas.
Keith was born November 15, 1962, in Beeville to Mac and Dorothy Uzzell. He was a 1981 graduate of A.C. Jones High School. Later he dedicated numerous years of service as an Aviation Tech in Corpus Christi. Keith retired in November of 2024 and moved back to his hometown of Beeville. He loved music, football and baseball. He did not have a favorite team but simply loved watching a good game. He also enjoyed riding his Harley. He began riding motorcycles at the age of 9 and rode until he retired.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Mac Uzzell; and mother, Dorothy Marie (Koenig) Uzzell.
Survivors include his two sisters, Lori Uzzell of Leander, Texas and Terri (Bill) Mudgett of Round Rock, Texas; as well as a niece, Taylor Mudgett (Adam Wheeler); nephew, William Spencer Mudgett; a great-nephew, Conor Wheeler; and great-niece, Isla Wheeler.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 23, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville with a celebration of life service at 1 o’clock. An inurnment ceremony will follow at Beeville Memorial Park.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kitty Fojtik, Michael Fojtik, Mark Barrett, Joe Fojtik, Diane Rudosal, Matt Koenig, Mark Koenig, Crystal Koenig, Brian Koenig, Austin Koenig, Savannah Koenig and Reggie Elder.
