Jacqueline Ann DiFronzo (Jackie), 80, of Somers, beloved wife of John C. DiFronzo, Jr., passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Hartford Hospital surrounded by her family.
Jackie was born in Hartford, CT on May 28, 1943, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna (Digan) Little and grew up in East Hartford, CT, before moving to Hartford, CT with her family. John and Jackie married in 1962 and settled in Somers where she raised her family.
Jackie loved being a mom and raising her 5 children. She enjoyed being part of the Brownies with her daughters and watching her sons in Midget Football and High School sports. She was active in a local Day Care before being employed by AETNA Life & Casualty.
If Jackie loved being a mom she was over the moon when she became a grandmother. You could find Jackie every Sunday with a house full of family and grandchildren. Her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter made her heart full.
Besides her husband John, she leaves 5 children, John DiFronzo, III of West Springfield, Jeffrey DiFronzo and his wife Karen of Enfield, Jennifer DiFronzo of Enfield, Justina Girouard and her husband David of Enfield, and Jessica DiFronzo and partner Chris Norton of Enfield; 6 grandchildren, Nicholas DiFronzo and partner Alison Perreault, Zachary DiFronzo and partner Maria Aritan, Brianna DiFronzo and fiancé Vincent Scaficchia, Morgan DiFronzo, and Julianna and Joseph Girouard, and great-granddaughter, Adelyne Grace DiFronzo; her brother, John Little and his wife Carole, of Navarre, FL; her sister, Mary Ann Tobin of Enfield, CT; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers James Little, Jr. Mark Little, and her sister Margaret Greene.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, November 9, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., Somers, CT. Burial will be private. For online condolences, please visit www.somersfuneralhome.com.
