Jackie Dugan passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, in Corinth Mississippi, surrounded by her family. Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, Jackie carried with her a deep appreciation for life‘s simple joys and enduring values of family.
Jackie is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry, Dugan; two children, Jason Modory(Stephanie) and Jamie Young (Richie); and her three cherished grandchildren, Haley Modory, Kenna Modory, and Trey Young, along with many more family and friends. Her family was the heart of her world, and she found joy and spending spending time with her family. Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Beverly Yorton; and brother, Jeff Yorton.
A person of warmth and generosity. Jackie had a unique gift for bringing people together. Whether it was organizing family gatherings or hosting casual evenings around the fire with friends, she created spaces where laughter flowed freely, and everyone felt welcome. Her home was often filled with lively conversations and heartfelt moments.
Jackie treasured the time she spent outdoors around a glowing campfire, which invited a setting for storytelling, music, and camaraderie. These gatherings became treasured rituals among family and friends alike.
Known for her genuine kindness and inclusive spirit, Jackie left an indelible mark, and through those who knew her, her legacy, lives on in the warmth of every shared memory and strength of her family and friends .
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her and continue to inspire of love and togetherness in the years to come.
