In her death, we make light in remembrance of who she truly was, smart, strong and beautiful. Jackie was born August 1st, 1967 in New Munich, MN, being the oldest of 7 children. As a young adult she developed a love for singing, playing piano and photography. After high school, she spent the summer traveling, singing with The Reach Out Singers. And from there, college in Steubenville, OH, for an RN. She bought a home in Pittsburgh, PA , loved being a Nurse and loved city life.

She was independent, responsible and great with money. Was outgoing, loved dining with friends, going to concerts and traveling. She loved fashion; her many hair styles, her braids, her nails, her levi’s, her navy with white polka dot blouses, her lipstick, her sunglasses. She was a Jeep-girl. Jackie was intelligent; learning and researching on health, fitness and psychology and watching documentaries and autobiographies on stars. Solace was found in drawing, art, plants, flowers and yard work. Thoughts always wrote in journals and her handwriting unique- a font in itself.

From Pennsylvania, she moved to Fosston, MN. Where she spent time with her father, before passing from cancer. Time with her brothers at “the land.” Time with her mother, running to Bemidji or buying plants/flowers. Time with her sisters, spoiling their kids. Time with her close friend, Nancy. She was always a dog lover and was never without.

Even though she suffered, she gave it her all, and endured till the end.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
