Jacqueline "Jacquie" Diane Murdock of Rolla, Missouri, formerly of Dixon, MO was born July 30, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Thomas William and Carol Deane (Thomas) Hardesty, and departed this life Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the Rolla Memory Center in Rolla, Missouri. Jacquie attained the age of 70 years old.
Jacquie was united in marriage on March 16, 2001 in Rolla, Missouri to Michael Murdock. She is preceded in death by her father, on February 12, 1985 and mother, on May 12, 2017; son, Scott Preston Ramsey on July 2, 1995; brother, Thomas William Hardesty II on October 27, 2011; grandparents, William & Sybil Hardesty and Olen & May Dean "Riley" Thomas.
Jacquie accepted the Lord as her savior at a young age and was of the Catholic faith. During her working career, she was in emergency services, serving as a 911 Dispatcher, Jailer and a Deputy for the Phelps County Sheriff's Department. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed the simple pleasures of homelife.
Those left to mourn the passing of Jacquie include: her husband, Michael Murdock, Rolla; her son, Zachary Ramsey, Rolla; step-daughters, Nichole Murdock, Rolla & Anna Vitzthum, Rolla; her step-father, James Helton, Dixon; her sister, Linda Hardesty; step-sisters, Joanne Rollins, Dixon & Alice (Randy) Wiles, Dixon; step-brother, Dainel Cramer, Dixon; Grandchildren, Dylan, Payton, Brian, Noah, Edward, Jeremiah, Blake, Robby and her first great-grandchild due to be born in August; along with many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, May 23, 2025 at 12pm, with visitation beginning at 11am prior to service all at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
Interment will be held at a later date at the Hardesty Family Cemetery, near Dixon.
